Appium
Appium is an open-source Mobile application automation testing framework used with native, hybrid and mobile web apps. It has NO dependency on Mobile device OS. APPIUM is a framework or wrapper that translate Selenium Webdriver commands into UIAutomation (iOS) or UIAutomator (Android) commands depending on the device type, not any OS type. Like Selenium, Appium also supports all languages that have Selenium client libraries like – Java, Objective-C, JavaScript with node.js, PHP, Ruby, Python, C#, etc. It drives iOS, Android, and Windows apps using the WebDriver protocol. Appium supports Safari on iOS and Chrome or the built-in ‘Browser’ app on Android.
